Our own visit counter — no cookies
We measure traffic ourselves, on our own server. This counter stores no cookies and needs no consent. We record: the page visited, the page you came from, roughly how long you stayed and how far you scrolled, plus device type, browser, operating system and browser language.
A visitor is identified by an irreversible hash derived from a random value that changes every day and exists only in the server's memory. That means the hash cannot be turned back into an IP address, nor can your visits be linked across different days. We do not store IP addresses. Counter data is never shared — it does not leave our servers.
Google Analytics — only with your consent
We would additionally like to use Google Analytics 4. That tool does store cookies and sends data to Google, so it only starts after you click “Accept” in the banner. Until then it runs in denied mode: no cookies, and no data that could identify you.
If you click “Decline”, Google Analytics stays off and we will not ask again. The site works exactly the same — declining limits nothing.
Google Analytics does not run in the control panel, account pages or administration. Panel URLs contain device identifiers, and those have no business reaching an external service.
Changing your choice
Your decision is remembered in your browser (local storage, key
oq.consent) — not in a cookie. To change it, clear site data for
oquari.com in your browser settings; the banner will appear on your next visit.
Panel account
If you create a control panel account, we store your e-mail address and the data required to run the service and link your controllers. Signing in requires a session cookie — it is strictly necessary for the panel and is not used for tracking.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it and object to its processing. Requests go to office@oquari.com.
